Katie has been teaching in primary schools for 7 years. During that time, she has taught Year 4, Year 2 and EYFS. Katie is currently based in a Year 2 class in a 2-form entry school in Northwich where she also is Mathematics Subject Leader. Katie loves teaching mathematics and helping to build children’s self-confidence and belief leading to a genuine love of the subject. She is looking forward to working with the First4Maths Academy team to create resources and content that help teachers to plan inspiring and successful lessons.
